Magicians have been fooling people for centuries but, quite obviously, some are going to be better than others. For some magicians, they will be perfectly happy to do parlor tricks at parties or at the local pub. For others, however, they want to take their art to the next level and use those illusions to fool a larger crowd. When you see Steven Brundage perform, you recognize that he has gone to that next level.
Not only does he have an audience that can be tough at times, he has some of the best magicians sitting right in front of him. Penn and Teller, who are some of the most famous illusionists in the United States, are sitting only a few feet away while he does a number of tricks with, of all things, a Rubik’s cube. As he goes from one trick to the next, you can see that he is really fooling those magic masters.
The Rubik’s cube is a three-dimensional combination puzzle that was invented in 1974. It seems as if the world went crazy over the Rubik’s cube when it first came out. Today, there are still some who can be considered masters of the cube, and Steven Brundage is one of them.
